ear Family and Friends,
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! We hope that 2006 has been happy and healthy for you all.

t has been another year of job changes for us. In April, Ron started a new job as the Agency Lab Technician for Molex. He is learning a lot and getting to do more of the hands-on work that he enjoys. We hope that Molex is a company where he can be happy for many years to come. I am still working at ITI but as you can see from my web-site, I am also learning new things. It will be fun putting my new knowledge to use at work.

nfortunately, new jobs mean less vacation time, but Ron and I managed to fit in a lot of weekend and long-weekend trips. In January, we went on a 2-day cruise to the Bahamas. We spent the day in Nassau at the amazing Atlantis resort and aquarium. Ron had boat-envy after seeing all the gorgeous boats docked at the marina.

ur next trip was to Key West where we visited the Key West lighthouse, watched the famous sunset celebrations, and enjoyed a few beers and mojitos at some of the numerous bars. We also took a side trip to the Dry Tortugas to visit the lighthouse on Fort Jefferson. The only way to get to the Dry Tortugas is by boat or seaplane and we opted for the seaplane. Since neither one of us is a big fan of little planes, we weren’t sure how much we would enjoy the flight. But it turned out to be one of the neatest things I’ve ever done. The plane flew at a low altitude so that we could see the beautiful water, islands and even a couple of shipwrecks.

n May, we went on a 4-day cruise with our friends, the Raricks and the Tuomeys. My favorite part of the trip was the stop in Cozumel where we rented a van and drove around the island. Cruising is a great way to spend time with friends. I haven’t laughed that much in a long time.

or my birthday, Ron took me on a lighthouse sightseeing tour of Florida’s “Forgotten Coast”, the area between the Big Bend and Mexico Beach. We visited three lighthouses in one weekend – St Marks, Crooked River and Cape San Blas. We stayed overnight in Apalachicola, a small historic town established in 1831 and known for its wonderful seafood. Our hotel room was right on the river and we woke to the sun rising over the water. Oh, to be able to wake up to that every day. Beautiful!

ust recently, we drove to the east coast to see the Hillsboro Inlet and Jupiter lighthouses. We have now visited 15 Florida lighthouses but there are still a few left for us to visit next year.

his summer was extra special for me because Kwunshi, our housekeeper and dearest friend from Korea, and her granddaughter Kyung Suh came for a month-long visit. They stayed with Jennifer in North Carolina, and the four Huntley kids were able to spend a weekend all together with them. Kwunshi also spent a few days in Florida so she got to meet Ron and see our home. It was so wonderful to see her again.

e’ve had a couple of exciting accomplishments in the family this year. Jennifer published her first book this summer, called “Michelle Wie: The Making of a Champion”, a biography of the teenaged golf pro. And Mary ran not one, but two marathons. I’m very proud of them both.

e feel so blessed to have such wonderful family, friends, jobs and travels. We hope that you will also be blessed this holiday season and in the coming year.

Have a wonderful Christmas and a
very happy New Year!
